This Remote GTM Manager privacy policy explains, plainly, what data remotegtmmanager.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The site is run by Md. Istiqur Rahman. Read the Cookie Policy alongside this for the specific trackers in use, and the Terms of Service for the rules of using the site.
Information Collected
Newsletter signup. The only form on this site lives on the Strategy Framework Newsletter page. It collects an email address and first name only — nothing else — through Brevo, this site's newsletter provider. Signups require double opt-in, meaning an unconfirmed email is never added to the active list. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated spam signups, which means Google receives limited technical signals (such as IP address and browser details) when the Newsletter page is used.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use it — pages viewed, general behavior patterns, and session recordings/heatmaps in Clarity's case. These tools collect data automatically (device type, approximate location, on-site behavior) without asking for anything to be typed in.
Guide reactions and feedback. Each guide in the AI for Strategy library lets a visitor react with Like, Love, Applause or Dislike. To keep one reaction per visitor and block automated stuffing, the site stores a random anonymous visitor ID (set in a cookie on the visitor's device) and a short one-way hash of the visitor's network address, never the address itself. Choosing Dislike offers an optional box for written feedback. That note is saved on its own, with the guide it refers to and the date, but nothing that identifies the visitor, and it is read only by Md. Istiqur Rahman. Please do not put personal details in it.
Search engine verification. Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools are each verified with a single meta tag in the page's head. Neither process collects any data from site visitors — it only confirms domain ownership to the search engines themselves.
Booking a call. The Strategy Call — offered on the Remote GTM Manager for Solopreneurs, Remote GTM Manager for Entrepreneurs, and Website Designer and Developer for Startups pages — is booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. Whatever is entered there — name, email, and any note — is collected by Calendly and shared with Md. Istiqur Rahman so the call can happen. This site itself never sees or stores it, and Calendly's own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.
Contact by email. There's no contact form on this site (see the Contact page) — reaching out means emailing me directly. Whatever's included in that email is what's received; nothing else is collected automatically from a visitor who simply reads this site without emailing.
Server logs. Like most websites, this site's hosting may log basic technical data (such as 404 errors and redirect activity) for maintenance purposes. This is handled anonymously — it's used to catch broken links and fix them, not to identify individual visitors.
Not Currently Collected
Meta Pixel and Pinterest Tag are not active on this site. If that changes in the future, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated to reflect it — nothing gets added silently.
How Information Is Used
Newsletter data is used only to send the newsletter itself, through Brevo. Analytics data (GA4, Clarity) is used to understand what's working on this site and improve it — not sold, not shared with advertisers, not used to build a profile for sale to a third party.
Third-Party Processors
Data passes through a small number of trusted third parties to make this site function: Brevo (newsletter delivery), Calendly (booking calls), Google (GA4 analytics, reCAPTCHA spam protection on the newsletter form, Search Console), Microsoft (Clarity analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools), OpenFreeMap (the map tiles on the Contact page, loaded from OpenFreeMap's servers, which means the visitor's IP address and the area of the map being viewed reach them), and YouTube (videos embedded in some guides load only after the visitor presses play, and then from YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain; until then nothing is requested from YouTube). Each of these companies has its own privacy practices governing how it handles the data it processes.
Data Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained according to Brevo's own data handling practices for as long as the subscription remains active; unsubscribing removes future access to the list. Analytics data retention follows GA4's and Microsoft Clarity's own default retention settings.
Your Rights
Regardless of where a visitor is located, reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete personal data held by this site (such as a newsletter subscription) are respected — email me to make one. There's no cost or hidden process attached to a legitimate request like this.
Opting Out of Analytics
Most browsers allow blocking third-party analytics scripts through privacy settings, ad-blocking extensions, or Google's own Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Doing so won't affect access to any page on this site — analytics exists to understand usage patterns, not to gate content.
International Data Transfers
Remote GTM Manager works remotely with clients and visitors across many countries. Data collected here (newsletter signups, analytics) may be processed or stored on servers located outside a visitor's own country, as is standard for services like Brevo, Google, and Microsoft, which operate global infrastructure.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under the age most commonly recognized as the age of digital consent. If it becomes apparent that a child's data was collected inadvertently, it will be deleted upon request.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as tools, trackers, or practices on this site change. The version published here is always the current one.
