Remote GTM Manager: About Md. Istiqur Rahman
I'm Md. Istiqur Rahman. I run Remote GTM Manager myself.
18+ years. One strategist. No hand-off.
Begin the story
I handle the tough work personally, and when a project needs more hands I bring in small teams — but every piece of work runs under my strategy and my supervision. No account managers, no rotating juniors, no hand-off after the first call. If you work with me, you work with me.
Chapter 1 2008
Two blogs, no budget, no team
It started in 2008. I bootstrapped two blogs past 600,000 monthly visitors on nothing but AdSense and stubbornness — no budget, no team, just figuring out what actually moves organic traffic. Everything since has been a more precise version of that same problem.
Chapter 2 2011 – 2017
Then pharmacy taught me to diagnose
- 2011 Admitted, undergraduate pharmacy
- 2017 Completed M.Pharm
One detail people don't expect: alongside the tech work, I studied pharmacy. I was admitted to the undergraduate program in 2011 and completed my M.Pharm in 2017. It trained me to treat a wrong dosage as a crisis, not a rounding error. A wrong strategy should be treated the same way. That's the instinct I kept: don't guess, diagnose. A pharmacist doesn't treat symptoms without understanding the mechanism. Neither do I.
Chapter 3 The problem I fix
The gap nobody is watching
Most businesses spend on marketing that fails to convert. They get either no traffic or spam traffic. I fix that by building precise SEO and digital marketing systems that turn visitors into loyal customers.
That's the whole reason Remote GTM Manager exists. Not "more traffic" — traffic that doesn't convert is just a bigger number on a dashboard nobody acts on. I've watched solopreneurs and entrepreneurs get burned by agencies that sell hours instead of owning outcomes, that hand a senior pitch to a junior team, that optimize for rankings instead of revenue. That's the gap I fill: one expert, direct, accountable for the result — not the report.
The pattern I see most often: a traffic graph climbing while CAC climbs faster. It's a content-to-conversion gap almost nobody on the team is actually watching — usually because the writers don't read code and the developers don't read SERPs, so the gap between "people are visiting" and "people are buying" belongs to no one. Closing that gap, end to end, is the actual job.
Chapter 4 The operator
An M-shaped operator
I've been doing this since 2008. That's 18+ years of organic SEO, full-stack marketing, and — when a business needs it — hands-on web development. I call it an M-shaped skillset: deep in a few things, wide enough to connect them, so I'm not the person who needs three other specialists in the room to get something shipped.

Chapter 5 The proof
Real numbers from real businesses
- 18+years of organic SEO, marketing and web work
- 600,000+monthly visitors, two bootstrapped blogs, 2008
- 150K+monthly users, Silicon Valley SaaS startup
- $284K+monthly revenue influenced, USA cosmetics eCommerce brand
Over the years this has meant working directly with a range of businesses across different industries and geographies — not a single vertical, and not a single country. A Silicon Valley SaaS startup grew to 150K+ monthly users. A USA-based cosmetics eCommerce brand reached $284K+/month in revenue influenced. Different businesses, same underlying job: close the gap between traffic and revenue.
Chapter 6 The rules I work by
What changes when we work together
I believe SEO should be a measurable, strategic investment — not a "nice-to-have" a business hopes is working. That means:
- 01
Transparency and clear communication
Not a black box you're asked to trust.
- 02
Organic growth built on real content and ethical practice
The kind that holds up, not the kind that gets penalized eighteen months later.
- 03
AI and analytics used to sharpen decisions
Never to replace the judgment behind them.
- 04
A niche focus
Solopreneurs and entrepreneurs specifically — because precision beats a generalist playbook every time.
Chapter 7 What comes next
Where this is heading
Search itself is changing — AI Overviews, generative answers, and AI-driven discovery are already reshaping how people find a business before they ever click a link. Aligning traditional SEO with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) isn't a future problem, it's a current one, and it's a big part of what I already practice with solopreneur and entrepreneur clients today. That's the direction this keeps going: staying ahead of how search actually works, not how it used to.
End credits The short version
The short version
18+ years. One strategist leading the work, not a team you get rotated through. Trained to diagnose, not guess. Built for solopreneurs and entrepreneurs who are done paying for traffic that doesn't turn into customers.
I'm based in Sadar Upazilla, Jashore, Bangladesh, and I work with solopreneurs and entrepreneurs across the US and other developed and developing countries — remote by default, not as a workaround.
